## What You Get

When phone enrichment is enabled, Hyperscale finds the best available phone numbers from publicly available business sources.

**Note**: Unlike email addresses (which are verified for deliverability), phone numbers are sourced but not verified. We provide the best available phone numbers we can find.

## How It Works

Phone enrichment integrates seamlessly with lead enrichment:

1. **Discovery** → Finds phone numbers from public business sources
2. **Formatting** → Standardizes to international format
3. **Result** → Clean, ready-to-dial phone numbers

## Pricing

**Additional credits per lead** (in addition to base email enrichment cost)

Phone enrichment costs significantly more than email-only enrichment. Check your subscription page for current pricing.

### Billing Model

Same as email enrichment - upfront charge, automatic refunds:

**Example**:

* Request 100 leads with phones
* Results: 85 emails found, 70 phones found
* **Refund**: Automatically refunded for leads where email or phone wasn't found
* **Final cost**: Only charged for successfully enriched data

You're only charged for leads where BOTH email and phone were found.

Success varies by:

## How to Enable

### During Search Creation

1. Configure your search (job title, location, etc.)
2. Find the **"Include Phone Numbers"** toggle
3. Enable it before starting the search
4. Credit calculator updates to show phone costs

### During CSV Upload

1. Upload your CSV and map headers
2. Find the **"Include Phone Numbers"** toggle
3. Enable it before starting enrichment
4. Credit calculator shows total cost with phones

### Cannot Add Later

⚠️ **Important**: Phone enrichment must be enabled when creating the search. You cannot add phones to existing searches.

To enrich an existing list with phones:

1. Export the search to CSV
2. Re-upload with phone enrichment enabled

## Phone Number Format

All phone numbers are formatted in international E.164 format:

**Examples**:

* US: +1-555-123-4567
* UK: +44-20-1234-5678
* Germany: +49-30-12345678

This format works with:

## Data Sources

Phone numbers come from multiple verified business data sources including:

* Public business directories
* Company websites
* Professional databases
* Verified contact information

All numbers are sourced from publicly available business information.

## Quality & Accuracy

### Phone Verification

Every phone number is verified before being charged:

* ✅ Valid format
* ✅ Active number (not disconnected)
* ✅ Correct country code

### Accuracy Expectations

* **Direct dial numbers**: 85-95% accuracy
* **Mobile numbers**: 70-85% accuracy
* **Disconnect rate**: 5-15% (people change jobs)

### What "Accuracy" Means

* ✅ Number connects
* ✅ Right company
* ⚠️ May not reach exact person (could be desk line shared by department)
* ⚠️ Person may have left company (data aging)

## Data Freshness

Phone numbers are updated regularly but can become stale:

* **0-3 months old**: Highest accuracy (90%+)
* **3-6 months old**: Good accuracy (80-90%)
* **6-12 months old**: Moderate accuracy (70-80%)
* **12+ months old**: Lower accuracy (60-70%)

### Do Not Call Lists

Hyperscale provides phone numbers but does NOT:

* ❌ Check against Do Not Call registries (your responsibility)
* ❌ Guarantee compliance with telemarketing laws
* ❌ Provide legal advice on cold calling

* Check local Do Not Call laws
* Maintain your own suppression list
* Follow TCPA (US), GDPR (EU), and local regulations

## Troubleshooting

### "Phone number not found for most leads"

This is normal. Match rates vary by:

* **Industry**: Tech has lower rates
* **Seniority**: Executives harder to find
* **Geography**: International lower rates
* **Company size**: Startups harder than enterprises

Typical match rate: 50-70%

### "Phone number is disconnected"

People change jobs frequently. If multiple numbers are disconnected:

1. Forward details to <support@gethyperscale.com>
2. We'll credit your account
3. Consider targeting more stable roles (not startups)

### "Only got direct dial, not mobile"

Mobile numbers are harder to find. We provide whichever is available:

* Direct dial > Mobile > Both > Neither
* You're charged if we find either

### "Phone enrichment toggle is disabled"

Phone enrichment only available for FULL searches (not LINKEDIN\_ONLY).

## Refund Policy

You're automatically refunded if:

* ✅ No phone number found
* ✅ Email found but no phone (refund for phone cost only)

Manual refunds if:

* ✅ Disconnected number (email <support@gethyperscale.com>)
* ✅ Wrong person's number (clearly inaccurate)

Not refundable:

* ❌ Person doesn't answer (valid number, just no answer)
* ❌ Gatekeeper/assistant answers (number works, just screened)
* ❌ Voicemail only (valid number)
