# Start a Campaign

When you start a campaign, you'll be guided through these key stages:

* **Choose your channel** — Email, LinkedIn, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, LinkedIn DM, or Sales Navigator DM/InMail. See [LinkedIn Campaign Types](/start-campaigns/start-a-campaign/linkedin-campaign-types.md) for a full comparison.
* **Choose who to reach out to** — Select recipients from your search results
* **Draft personalized messages** — Use AI to generate emails, connection requests, or direct messages for everyone you selected
* **Set up follow-ups** — Configure delays and number of follow-up messages
