Add Emails & Phone Numbers Later

Add verified emails or phone numbers to a search you've already run, without re-running the search or re-uploading a CSV.

You don't have to decide everything up front. Once a search has finished, you can go back and enrich the leads you actually care about:

  • Get Verified Emails β€” adds verified email addresses to a LinkedIn-only search.

  • Get Phone Numbers β€” adds phone numbers to any search that didn't already include them.

Both run on the leads you select, so you can spend credits on the 50 leads worth pursuing rather than all 500.

This is why starting with a LinkedIn-only search is a good default. A LinkedIn-only lead plus emails added later costs the same in total as running a Full search up front β€” so deferring the email spend costs you nothing, and you only pay it on the leads you keep.

Where to find it

  1. Open a completed search from Manage Leads.

  2. Select the leads you want to enrich, using the checkboxes in the Name column. The header checkbox selects everything.

  3. Click the β‹― (three dots) menu in the top-right of the Search Results card.

  4. Choose Get Verified Emails or Get Phone Numbers.

Get Phone Numbers

Completed searches that were run without phone numbers

What matters is how the search was originally run. A Full search already includes verified emails, so it never shows the email option; a search you created with phone numbers switched on never shows the phone option.

Once you've run an enrichment of either type on a search, that option stays available so you can make further passes over the rest of the leads.

Confirming the cost

Selecting either option opens a confirmation dialog showing the most you could be charged β€” the number of leads in the run, the credit cost per lead, and an "up to" total. Nothing is charged until you confirm.

Credits are charged upfront when you confirm, and refunded automatically for leads we can't enrich β€” for email runs when the run finishes, and for phone runs as each lead's result comes back.

Leads that are skipped and not charged

Not every selected lead is chargeable. The dialog quotes the "up to" figure before these skips are worked out, so the amount actually charged is often lower than the number you were shown. Skipped for free:

Get Verified Emails

  • Leads imported from a CSV or added manually β€” we never enriched them, so there's nothing to upgrade

  • Leads we've already determined have no qualifying email

Get Phone Numbers

  • Leads that already have a phone number

  • Leads with no LinkedIn profile URL β€” we need one to look up a phone number

On a first email run, leads that already have a verified email are charged, and their email is revealed. On repeat runs those leads are skipped for free, so re-selecting everything won't bill you twice for the same data.

Enriching large searches

A single enrichment run handles up to 1,000 leads. That isn't a lifetime limit β€” you can run it again to keep going:

  • If you select more than 1,000 leads, the selection is automatically trimmed to 1,000, prioritizing the leads that still need the data.

  • When the run finishes, select again and run it once more. Each pass picks up where the last left off.

An 8,000-lead search takes eight passes to enrich completely.

What to expect while it runs

  • The email or phone column appears immediately, before any data arrives. Empty cells during a run are normal, not a failure.

  • A banner shows that enrichment is in progress, and results fill in progressively as they land β€” the page refreshes itself roughly every 30 seconds.

  • A toast notification confirms completion. For email runs it also reports how many credits were refunded; phone refunds are issued separately as each lead's result comes back, so they aren't totalled in that message.

  • Email enrichment typically takes a few minutes; allow up to around 35 minutes for a large run.

  • You can't delete the search while a run is in progress.

If a run doesn't fully settle in time, it finishes as timed out. This is a normal outcome rather than an error β€” for email runs, credits for every lead that wasn't verified are still refunded.

If a phone run times out, a small number of leads may still have been charged without a result. If you spot that, email support@gethyperscale.com with the search and we'll put the credits back.

Troubleshooting

"An enrichment for this search is already in progress" Another run is still going on this search. Wait for it to finish, then try again.

"Out of Credits" You don't have enough credits for the selected leads. Top up and try again β€” nothing was charged.

The menu options aren't showing Check, in order: the search has finished; you've selected at least one lead; no other enrichment run is active; and the search was originally run without that data β€” a Full search never offers Get Verified Emails, and a search created with phone numbers never offers Get Phone Numbers.

Fewer leads were charged than I selected That's the skip rules above doing their job β€” imported leads, leads without a LinkedIn URL, and leads that already have a phone number aren't charged. Note that on a first email run, leads that already have a verified email are charged, since that run reveals the address.
